About North Wales, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

North Wales is a Montgomery Count borough that also serves as a suburb of Philadelphia. It is found within the North Penn Valley and is home to about 3,300 residents. Similar to other small Pennsylvania boroughs, North Wales is in a “build out” phase, meaning that its boundaries aren’t keeping up with the growth in population. This community is part of the North Penn School District, and many of the basic services offered in the community are found on Walnut and Main Streets within the business district.

Whether living in North Wales or just passing through, there are several things to see or do in the community. Outdoor recreation is popular in the area, and while residents often enjoy taking their children to the playground at Parkside Place Park, they may be more apt to take their pets to the Montgomery County Bark Park. The Prism Brewing Company is a great place to check out some local beers, and the Alice Baker and Confectionary is a popular destination to grab a sweet treat. Shopping is available at the Montgomery Mall as well as specialty shops like 2nd Avenue Value Stores, Sweet Repeats, and North Wales Running.

North Wales will experience varied weather conditions throughout the year. Winters are cold and snowy, and when you consider the fact that temperatures often fall below the freezing point, it is easy to see that dangerous conditions can result both indoors and outdoors. The summer months are hot, with high humidity making the area feel quite uncomfortable at times. This can be an extremely difficult time for people who are living with respiratory illnesses like allergies and asthma. Additionally, the American Lung Association has stated that the region has received a “F” grade regarding the ozone, so if you want to reduce pollution in your home, energy efficient home furnace and air conditioning systems are beneficial.
