About Blue Bell, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located within Montgomery County’s Whitpain Township, Blue Bell is a Pennsylvania community with just over 6,000 residents. This town was originally called Pigeontown due to the large flocks of passenger pigeons that gathered in the area, but it was renamed in 1840. Blue Bell is home to the headquarters of the technology service provider Unisys and telecommunications provider UniTek Global Services. Higher education is also available in the community at the Montgomery County Community College, which is one of the reasons that Blue Bell has been ranked as one of the “Best Places to Live in the U.S.” by Money magazine.

There are a variety of areas of interest located in Blue Bell. Golf is popular in this community, with courses being found at both Blue Bell Country Club and Meadowlands Country Club. Golf is also available at Mermaid Lake, and this summer camp and event venue also offers a huge swimming pool, mini golf, and other activities. There are also some unique shopping destinations in the area, including the hobby shop Alternate Universes, Paperback Trader, and Blooms and Buds Flowers and Gifts, as well as larger stores like Kohl’s.

If you are living in Blue Bell – or if you have plans to move or visit the community in the near future – you should know what you are getting into in terms of weather. The summer months are hot and humid, with temperatures exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit an average of 25 days per year. On the other hand, winter months are cold and snowy, and while the average season will see about two feet of accumulation, other years will top that greatly. In order to keep your family safe regardless of what Mother Nature has in store for you throughout the year, you’ll want to invest in both a home furnace system and a central air conditioning unit.
