Lansdale is a Montgomery County, PA borough situated about 28 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Approximately 16,300 people call the community home, and many commute to Philadelphia to work using the SEPTA Regional Rail’s Lansdale/Doylestown Line, which has a station in this borough. Lansdale is part of the North Penn School District, and while there are several elementary schools located here, older students will attend North Penn High School in nearby Towamencin Township. Lansdale is notably home to a Kugel ball sculpture, which can be found in Railroad Plaza next to the train station.

There are a variety of interesting things to see and do when visiting Lansdale. The Peter Wentz Farmstead and Merrymead Farm are worthwhile outdoor attractions, and history buffs might like to check out the Morgan Log House. Beer and wine enthusiasts have a few options in Lansdale, with Cardinal Hollow Winery and Round Guys Brewing Company both being located here.
