About Doylestown, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Doylestown is the county seat of Bucks County, and this borough is located 27 miles north of Philadelphia and 80 miles south of New York City. Approximately 8,400 residents call the community home. Doylestown is part of the Central Bucks School District, with older students attending Central Bucks West High School. Residents can easily access Philadelphia via a SPTA bus route, which travels to Abington, Warrington, and Willow Grove, and it eventually stops at Philly’s Olney Transportation Center.

There are a variety of things to see and do in Doylestown and the surrounding communities. Aldie Mansion, which was built in 1927, is home to the Heritage Conservancy, and this Tudor mansion also hosts a variety of special events. Art enthusiasts may enjoy a trip to the James A. Michener Art Museum o the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works. Residents and visitors alike may also want to check out the annual Polish-American Family Festival and Country Fair, which is held in this community.

As part of the northern periphery of a humid subtropical climate zone, Doylestown will experience a variety of different weather conditions with the different seasons. During the winter, conditions are usually snowy and cold, with average high temperatures only reaching about 33 degrees in January. A furnace is crucial during these months in order to stay warm, but as the warm and rainy spring months begin, residents may be able to go without any type of climate control for a couple of months.

In the summer, a central air conditioning unit is almost a necessity, especially when conditions become extremely humid. Although the average high temperature is only about 78 degrees, high humidity makes it feel even warmer. Plus, about 25 days each season will see temperatures that exceed 90 degrees. Fortunately, temperatures will cool down and become comfortable again during the autumn months.
